Yep, I got tagged. So here we go (in no specific order):
1. I'm not very good at just listing 25 things, so I got some ideas from the others who have been tagged before me :)
2. I talked out loud to myself in the mirror most of my childhood - and still do from time to time.
3. It is hard for me to think that it has been 9 years since I stopped being a cheerleader. It defined my life from age 8 to 18 and the only reason I stopped was because I didn't make the squad at Tech. I had a hard time with that at the time, but hey, it caused me to pledge KD, and without that I never would have made some great friends.
4. I am married to my best friend. I love our communication style, and how much we are alike.
5. I miss my college friends and wish I lived closer to them. I also wish I could interact with my friends now like we did then - it was so fun to just show up on each other's door steps!
6. Marc and I were essentially set up by *gulp!* our Moms! We met at a Tailgate party and our first date was on a bet.
7. I pick up on songs REALLY fast. Lately it's this darn Reid's Cleaners commercial. In my defense, they play it on the radio AND the television all the time. Marc is loving that I'm singing it all the time.
8. Hey, I'm not judging - I too talk to my dog as if she were a human, and - yes - I sometimes use baby talk.
9. I'm obsessed with making my guest bathroom comfortable for my guests. I have 2 different kinds of shampoo/body wash in the shower as well as a stash of lotions, sprays, creams, and foot scrub on the counter, all nicely displayed. All from Bath and Body Works.
10. Too bad we hardly ever have guests.
11. Marc and I have to be home on Monday nights to watch Heroes.
12. I ran track in the 7th grade. I made alternate for the meet once.
13. I always think that I don't make an impression on people and they won't remember me. I'm surprised when they remember my name.
14. I am OBSESSED the the Twilight Series of books. I had to stop after the first one because school started again. And I know that I can't have any of the books in my house or I will not do anything else. I had dreams about it. I watched all of the trailers and explored Stephanie Meyer's website. I was so wrapped up in the fantasy world after reading the first book that I went to see the movie and it took a while to come back to reality. I think Marc was starting to worry.
15. It's really hard to think of 25 things!
16. I can't wait to redo my bedroom. I want to change the colors and attempt to paint stripes on my walls.
17. Yes, I still watch the Bachelor.
18. I can't believe Mike Leach is being retarded about his coaching contract. But, I can't see Tech actually firing him - can you?
19. Sorry some of these things are a little out of date, it's taken me a while to think of all these things!
20. Marc and I love to go camping. Yes, like in a tent. This year it's Inks Lake in Burnet, TX in about a week and a half!
21. I was in a beauty pageant in High School! Ha!! Yes, I was in the Miss Helotes pageant, and didn't even place. It was kinda fun though, but I'd never do it again.
22. I'm very proud of myself for going back to Grad School. I'll be the first person in my immediate family with a Master's Degree. I just want to get a fancy frame for my diploma....
23. I often wonder why we can't be watching shows like Fraggle Rock, the Smurfs, and Rainbow Bright anymore. Those where the shows that actually taught kids stuff. And they were entertaining without being disgusting.
24. I went to the district science fair with my project in like 9th grade. I was such a geek! I tested how clean various contact lens cleaning products actually got your contacts.
25. I can't wait for school to be out!
