Graduation Present

I finally got my Graduation Gift from Marc today - a brand new iPhone 3Gs!! Marc had told me that he wanted to get it for me for Graduation, but we had to wait until one of us was eligible for an upgrade. Well, his line was eligible last Saturday and I was able to go out today and get it! I was surprised that AT&T would do this, so I figured I'd tell y'all that they will. I went in and told them that Marc's line was eligible, but I wanted the phone for my line. They said no problem! They upgraded the phone to his line, then put my SIM card in it and swtiched the data plan over to my line. It took about 10 minutes total from the time I walked in the door. And, to make it even better, my line is still eligible for an upgrade in January like it originally was, so we'll still be able to get Marc a new phone soon! His phone has been giving him fits, but he insisted on giving up his upgrade to me so I can put my medical software I will need for my (eventual) job on a smartphone. He's the best husband ever! So now he'll use my old phone until January.
