Spring Break 2010

Ahh Spring Break. So, yes, I'm not in school any more, but I do have cousins that are Teachers! We started this last year, my cousin Eric and his wife Angela came down and we went camping. So we decided to make it an annual occurrence! They drove from Enid, OK to Dallas last Friday night to visit my brother, then Saturday evening they made it down here. Sunday and Monday nights we camped, and came home Tuesday. Good thing we were planning on coming home Tuesday, because Monday night it started pouring down rain and pretty much didn't stop all day Tuesday. Needless to say, the boys were having fun packing up the tents in the rain.

My sister and her family also camped at Lake Somerville, just on a different loop. It was fun to have them stop by periodically too. We had a good time just getting to visit with Family, and of course the Smores!!

Wednesday we went out for St. Patrick's Day. It was nuts! We started with lunch at Texadelphia, then headed over to Doc's for Shuffleboard and beer, then ended the night at Little Woodrows - fried pickles, beer, and pizza! Sounds very low key, but did I mention there was a LOT of beer? Angela and I got shamrock necklaces at the bar, and we met up with our friend Ray, who somehow decided that St. Patty's day wasn't right without a shot of Jameson. Dude, I don't do shots anymore!! Good times all around, and luckily we didn't have anything planned on Thursday, so we were able to just kinda hang out most of the day.

Thursday night we went to Texas Roadhouse with my parents, my sister and her fam, and Eric and Angela. E & A always want to see as much family as they can when they come to Texas, so we usually have a Family Dinner night. Here is a cute pic of Eric and Angela, but the one of Marc and me didn't turn out so great, so I'll post it when I get the pictures from Angela's camera.
