I have updates. Again.
A lot happened within a short period of time. Like 2 weeks short.
Toward the middle of October, Marc and I found a house to rent. So, we invited my parents up to help and moved! We're about settled in now and getting ready to decorate for Christmas. It's a cute little house in Waxahachie; a 3 bedroom with a study. The kitchen is big, has tile floors and a tile backsplash. We also have tile in both bathrooms, including a tiled shower and tile above the garden tub. We have a cute little fireplace too, that we've already put to use with the cool nights we've had lately.
We decided to stay in Waxahachie since Marc was going to start at the HEB in Burleson on November 2. This way it would be pretty much a straight shot west for him to get to work, and keep me close to work as well. Ha ha. My HR director had been networking Marc's resume a bit, and one day he had lunch with one of our reps from the local corporate Temp agency that staffs not only Baylor, but other businesses in the DFW area. He passed on Marc's resume, and one of her recruiters got in touch with him. Of course, 1 week later, they had an interview for him! He went to the interview and the manager kept saying "when you start...." Marc finally asked her about those comments, and she said, "well, the job is yours if you want it." He was ecstatic!! The funny part? This was on October 28. Yes, 5 days before he was supposed to start his job at HEB. And guess what? They wanted him to start on November 2. The same day he was supposed to start at HEB. So - he called and quit HEB!! Marc is now working for the Baylor Healthcare Foundation - they handle all of the donations that keep the Baylor Healthcare System (a non-profit organization) afloat. And yes, this is the same Baylor Healthcare System that I work for. Marc's office is at our Main facility in downtown Dallas. So, his commute is a bit longer than we thought, but oh well.
And the first thing that happened to start this all off - the biggest thing - I'M PREGNANT!! Marc and I had been trying for a while, but I was having really irregular periods (we're talking 42-74 day cycles), and my doctor had drawn some blood and we were about 2 weeks away from an ultrasound of my ovaries to rule out PCOS (PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome). I had been on medicine to help regulate things, and when I didn't get my period after the medicine, I figured my body was so messed up that now this wasn't even working! I knew the doctor's office would ask me if I had taken a test when I called, so I went ahead and took one. And holy crap - it was positive!! Marc and I are really excited! I'm now 14 weeks 5 days, and starting to feel much better. I had nausea on and off all day, but I only threw up once. I was SUPER tired a lot, but now I'm getting my energy back and I don't feel sick anymore for the most part. Everything is looking good so far, heartrate is good and fast, and in the beginning of January we'll find out if it is a boy or a girl! I'm due May 26, 2011.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! WE NEED TO HANG OUT SOON! =)
