Here's another long one, with lots of pictures!

This is a dorm at Harvard - yes, I said a DORM!:
We got a good view of the Boston skyline as we came back across the Charles River.
When we got back into town, we explored King's Chapel. It was right across the street from our hotel, and it's the oldest church in Boston!
The inside of the church was beautiful. They have these square pews, where the families used to all sit, huddled around a foot warmer, before central heating. They have kept the square pews to this day.
After that, we decided to humble ourselves:
By visiting the Holocaust Memorial. There were 6 columns, made to look like smoke stacks. They each had a million numbers etched into the glass, the represent the 6 million people killed. Each stack had a couple of quotes from survivors, and the sidewalk between the stacks had a timeline of the history. Each stack was named after a different concentration camp.
They even had steam blowing up from underneath them. When you stood on the grates, you could look down and see twinkling Christmas lights. on the wall just below the grate (underground), the name of the concentration camp was displayed in big gold letters. It was very eery.
We had to get a beer after that to lighten our moods a bit, and then we went to Quincy Market to do some shopping! Then we explored a little more, and found our way to Paul Revere's House.
It looks so small compared to the newer buildins there, and it lies on about the biggest cobblestone street in town. He lived here with his wife and 16 children!
Ok, so I'll pick up on Wednesday. We met up with Dick and Priscilla, a couple of Marc's Mom's friends that live out near Boston. They drove us out to Lexington, Belmont, and Concord to see some of the surrounding history! We ate lunch at the Colonial Inn, an old inn that they now use as a restaurant. Then we drove through a couple of towns and got to see Harvard and MIT. It was a lot of fun!
On our way back to our hotel, we walked through the Old North End, or Little Italy. We didn't have plans for dinner, so we decided that we would walk through Little Italy and find a place to eat! We walked up one side and down the other side of a long street, and decided on Piccola Venezia. There was a couple sitting in the window, and the food looked wonderful! So we checked out the menu, and went inside!
