1. The night I got there, Hannah spiked a fever and was 101-104 the entire time I was there. She finally broke her fever on Thursday after I got home. She looked so sad, just laying on the couch, and any time Allison told her she was going to call the doctor, she would say that she was all better and didn't feel bad anymore.
2. I lost my voice. I had a cold last weekend, but I felt much better by the time I left for Midland. Then on Tuesday I had a frog in my throat and by Wednesday I had no voice left at all. I tried to call Marc and he could only ask what was wrong with me. It finally came back yesterday.
3. Ryder started coughing on Thursday morning before I left, and Allison and Lance have been having a fun time with a sick toddler and hosting a 3 year old Birthday Party. Things got worse with the Ryder Man: click here for details.
We had a low key few days, but I really enjoyed getting to spend the time with them. I didn't get any pictures of Hannah while I was there since she was sick, but here are some cute pics I snapped of Ryder:
And how funny is this, but Al and I got the same boots for Christmas! *(Funny, but strangely, not very weird for us)* We had never even talked about wanting boots or anything like that with each other, so when I called after Christmas we laughed. Anyway, we took this goofy picture to document the occasion:
