New Year 2009

Happy New Year everyone! We had a very low-key New Year's. We went to a friend's house and just hung out with finger foods and drinks. Marc had to work on New Year's Day, so we said Happy New Year to everyone and then promptly said goodbye. I brought my camera, but of course, I left it on the table and never took any pictures. Typical for me.



Then yesterday we went to our friends house to watch football and have black eyed peas! We had a good time, until baby Kate (10 weeks) had an explosive poo and some got on me! I thought it was funny, but I think her parents were a little embarrassed. I have enough friends and family with babies that I don't mind! I told them she'll probably spit up on me at some point too, because all babies do! And where did my camera sit all day? In my purse in the other room. Oh well!

On another note, Addie went to the Vet for her annual appointment and her rabies shot. She is such a big girl now! She is 18 inches tall to the shoulder, 36 inches long from the tip of her nose to the base of her tail, and she weighs a whopping 37.4 pounds!! You'll have to forgive me for posting about my four-legged child - we're not ready for kids of the human variety!!
